There is an article making the rounds that doctors are responsible for the decline in health care in the US and the dissipation of the American Dream. The article is surely written by a Democrat.

The erosion of protection of your rights by the Constitution began in 1942, when the Supreme Court basically invalidated the Commerce Clause of the Constitution in Wickard v Filburn, under intimidation by FDR. That was the beginning of a Federal bureaucracy that could dictate farmer's rights without recourse - the very first time such a thing ever happened in this country.

That encouraged the Left to press for many other bureaucratic victories, and the people of the US gladly gave them, as long as they were titled with "right" sounding names like "The Affordable Care Act," The Segregation Act," and on and on, until now the Federal Bureaucracy dictates every thing you do. You could be arrested at any time because the statutes are so immense and complicated that every person breaks Federal law at least three times a day. Before 1942, no one had to fear such a thing.

It has been observed that the Constitution will be an effective document as long as the people are aware of the tyranny that drove its creation and the philosophies on which it is based. I personally know of only a few people who are so acquainted. The Left has done a creditable job of following Alinsky's Rules For Radicals in creating propaganda intended to discredit the Constitution, and aided by leftist "intellectuals" driving a sensationalist media, drunken on "speaking 'truth' to power," the dumber half of the American IQ curve is only too happy to oblige.

By 1981 two hundred and seventy six insurance companies were driven out of business after Congress "regulated" the insurance industry. Insurance rates quadrupled overnight. Brilliant! Congress' answer? The "Affordable" Care Act, aka Obamacare. Insurance rates tripled. Brilliant! Sanders, Pelosi and Schumer were a part of that. If we were to allow free market forces to restore the natural balance, we may again see low insurance rates, and a return to healthcare that is again the envy of the world. Or we can let Democrats push us into socialism and die of long term disease waiting in the queue, as it it in England and Canada.

Liberals seem to believe there "should' be a better way, but without considering the consequences of trashing the best system ever devised by humans to deal with human flaws. So they believe that every deception, lie and fraud is justified to achieve their utopia, even though their solutions like socialism have killed more human souls than any other except Islam. Brilliant. The truth is that they are the only ones lying. That makes their high ideals fraud and they are the bad guys, and delude themselves otherwise. They can't face that and blame Trump and Republicans. Taking responsibility is totally foreign to them.

Federal healthcare was never Constitutional. It was accomplished by fiat, threat, intimidation and coersion; not principles on which this nation was founded. STATE healthcare is Constitutional and should be allowed if voters wish it. Federal healthcare should be repealed.

“It is amazing that people who think we cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication somehow think that we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication and a government bureaucracy to administer it.” - Thomas Sowell.

The answer is to never again vote for Democrats, whose unstated goal is the total destruction of the Constitution, in the name of Utopian ideals. Ideals totally proven wrong by history, but the Democrat leadership sees potential for power with a Constitution gone, and the method of gaining that power is by pandering to idealists who still feel there MUST be a way to make socialism work.

Yes, there has been some mission creep eh.

Mission creep. Uh, yeah... About that. If you could transport yourself to 1936 in the US, you would see something more like a complete revolution has occurred. Give it some study. You might be a bit surprised.

As long as they control the media and the education system they can mold western society into whatever they dream up. It doesn't even have to be logical. Just sell it through the propaganda machine.
