I wish I knew how to address the impending collapse but it is something I am giving more thought to here and in moments of reflection. Like all else, there's no silver bullet; no one approach to combat what we are likely to face. When this country first fought the British in the revolution, I believe a third was against the war, a third didn't care, and a third took on the British. We'll probably face similar odds. Trying educate people may have limited impact but if we spend too much time doing that we lose ground. Leftists have commandeered every influential institution. Perhaps we Alinsky those institutions most vulnerable to influence. I believe that would be businesses, corporations. We can look at churches and religion. Some inroads are being made in the culture wars with the introduction of new social media platforms and film production by orgs like The Daily Wire. I wonder why, while schools were shutdown during the scam-demic, more people didn't band together to carry out collective at home schooling to bypass corrupt school systems. It seemed the perfect time. I'm sure there were a number of reasons among them not knowing how to home school as well as perhaps a fear that their kids, having been home schooled outside an accredited school, would not get into college. But colleges and universities are completely overrun by leftists. There are, however, places like Hillsdale College and Praeger University, among others. Anyway, we all need to consider ways to fight back that doesn't rely on trying to convince those who are and have been disengaged.

I suspect it was only within the last several months that people began to understand just how traitorous our schools really had become, right down to kindergarten. The SJW explosion was the final light bulb. Our society for the past 30 years has made it an absolute necessity to have two parents working to support a decent lifestyle as wages completely lost connection with the eroding dollar value. Most families cannot afford to have one spouse stay home to school the children, let alone the knowledge and patience to do a great job. Accreditation may or may not be a problem as the homeschooling trend has been growing for years and I have not seen any expressed concern for successful entry into universities, however, why would you even want to enter the post-secondary route with its brainwashing. Obviously careers could become problematic but when you think about that, the brainwashing is specifically designed to facilitate obedient employees. I would suspect entrepreneurship is the preferred path.

I've tried to make that argument many times, about voting:
If you don't know what you're talking about regarding a certain issue or candidate... the most irresponsible thing you can do is vote on it anyway.

Too many people vote out of a tradition. That's why so many vote democrat. Moreover, they don't believe government has any impact on their lives. What taxes they do pay is hidden from them in the form of sales or excise as well as the so-called contributions taken from their paychecks. The media have made elections only a matter of personality contests. Ask an average voter why he chooses one candidate over another and the least likely response will be anything on policy.

In ever election so far I voted for the lesser of two evils...

@Hanno A sad testimony to the leadership vacuum.

Sowell could be right you know. But maybe God will allow it to get worse so people will have no other recourse but look up and start calling on Him as if their life depended on it before things get turned around.

Calling on God while it may be anodyne will not help unless the call to Him is to give courage, strength, and voice to fight those forces trying to tear down Western Civilization.

@SAScott And inspiration as to a successful direction and modality.

Sowell is a font of wisdom, and knowledge.

Another is Victor Davis Hanson!

@SAScott Thanks for the lead, just checking out his vids.

@AdrianRainbow He's great! Let me know what you think

A sober, realistic assessment of where we're at today. I've concluded the collapse is inevitable. In fact, it is occurring now. Politically, Conservatives are stuck arguing how to turn things around. We can't. It's too late. Leftists own, co-opted, corrupted every major institution. They've spent 50+ years burrowing in and hollowing out education, media, religion, culture, business, the family. We don't have 50 years to reverse the infection. Acknowledging the inevitable collapse is the way forward. What the leftists hope to impose cannot succeed simply because it flies in the face of objective reality. It's not just that socialism has never worked - nor ever will - it's because so many believe they can impose an individual delusion as a reality everyone must acknowledge, e.g. transgenders who believe they can change immutable biology. That is madness. Moreover, leftists have no governing philosophy, no constitution on which to base a society. They reject the U.S. Constitution. Without a rational governing philosophy all you have is bedlam. All they propose will inevitably collapse under its own myriad contradictions. It's a matter of time. Just how much time is not known but will depend on how we respond. They argue that diversity is strength but it will be their own downfall because the factions of malcontents making up the leftist front can't agree with one another. Too much diversity is also known as chaos. It is going to be hell. The discussion that must take place now is what to do when the inevitable, final collapse occurs. How do we rational people respond and pick up the pieces? How do we hasten their hitting bottom. Thought: if we precipitate the collapse we may interrupt their planning and execution. Force the change on them that they plan for us. In other words, ala Alinsky, make them live by their own rules.

Good analysis, just how do you figure we can do this. If we leave them to do it, full collapse is guaranteed. We all could use some good input on how to Alinsky them.

Funny, I grew up in a multicultural country but no one was at each other's throats, rather a very colorful mosaic was built where ideas and traditions from diverse cultures were added to the Anglo Saxon base. I doubt that beautiful blend still stands today with all the leftist crap.
