Will you let the government take away your right to choose?
"Needless to say, the ability to make choices is a most important capacity. It is basic to human existence. Apart from it, there can be no responsibility, no dependability, and no planning. Apart from it, there can be no education, no religion, and no worship. Apart from it, there can be no art, no science, and no culture. The ability to choose is a sine qua non of all human life." Anthony A. Hoekema, Created in God’s Image

The individual's right to chose is so fundamental to God's plan for humanity that He gives each person the right to chose his eternal destiny. God doesn't sent people to Heaven nor Hell, they chose to go of their own volition. Anyone who would deny a person the right to chose is denying God's sovereignty.

Good quote from a good book. Despite some theological disagreements, I'm a fan of Hoekema's writings.
