8 reasons Illinois voters should reject Amendment 1
The eight reason explained in the article are:
Amendment 1 gives government union leaders unchecked power
Amendment 1 is unconstitutional
Amendment 1 guarantees higher taxes and debt in Illinois
Amendment 1 would make Illinois an even worse place to do business
Amendment 1 would allow government union leaders to nullify more than 350 state laws
Amendment 1 would allow elected leaders to unionize
Amendment 1 would be the most extreme labor law in the nation
Rejecting Amendment 1 would preserve the status quo, with government employees maintaining some of the broadest labor protections in the country
Never let the government people decide their own terms of employment or you will be their slaves, rather than they being your servants.
@Derf We have room in the Smoky Mountains for more freedom-loving, patriotic Americans. You don't have to live in Illinois.
@Derf The Smoky Mountains cover the borders between Tennessee and North Carolina and Georgia and North Carolina. I live in Franklin, North Carolina. There are many people here off the grid and growing their own food, making their own tools etc. This is a place for it.
@Derf Yes, the greatest revenge against the narcissists who want to kill you is to live and thrive.
