There are some "tone" problems I have with Slug, but whatever. We need digital separation en route to political and physical separation, and if folks are putting in the effort to create such platforms, I'm not going to nit pick them.
Facebook, for instance launched 16 years ago, and wouldn't it be worth the struggle to end up with a Facebook for our people in 16 years? Of course it would. And of course it wouldn't take 16 years.
Same goes for You Tube, Google, Wikipedia, Amazon, etc.
