2038: "virus x" has mutated into a more benign form and people in state/region x have immunity to it

In all seriousness, everything except the DragonBallZ references is probably gonna happen in some form at some point. Science/Health Benefits is the new "God said so" and "Virus/disease" is the new "God's gonna end the world."
