I am an old white dude (I had been saying "middle-aged', but that would only be true if I might expect to live past 130 or so. No, I'm old. On the other hand, I've been planning to live forever, and so far, so good.)

So being old and white and a man, that's like three strikes right there, isn't it? I try to make up for those negatives by being logical, patient, clear-headed (even on weekends, for the most part), thoughtful and occasionally (accidentally?) humorous. And I won't go down without a fight (so to speak).

I also sail, talk about sailing, dream and occasionally lie about sailing. (The lie now is that I still sail. It's been awhile.)
