The US government has massive bunkers for civilian leaders and the military, and has a doctrine of COG (Continuity Of Government) in place. I don't think they've made provisions for average Joe. Bunkers in cities would probably be useless unless as a place for burial. The super rich are making their own, with New Zealand as a favorite "bug out" location. They won't have time to move there when crapolla hits the coola, though. Thirty minutes or less from launch and that's it.

@lawrenceblair I don't think they'll even have the time to reach the airport. They'll stand a chance only if they're already living in New Zealand (their bunkers are under their posh houses). Threats to nuke have become as commonplace as a greeting these days. A small miscalculation, and it's Isaiah 25:5 and 29:5.

@eschatologyguy That's because the KJV aspired to be a lexical translation, that is word-for-word, but other translations are thematic, trying to discern the author's intent and writing that. Unfortunately, the bias of the translator goes into the thematic translation more than the lexical.

@eschatologyguy The lexical meaning has nothing to do with heat nor shade. Simply a cloud. In the New King James, the cloud is not the source of the heat, but the heat exists within it ironically.

Difficult for the ancient prophets to describe what they saw in visions of things that didn't exist in their time and things they didn't even have words for yet. Especially the multitude of the "terrible ones" being or becoming like chaff and passing away "at an instant, suddenly." By the way, "terrible of the nations" does not mean ugly or bad. It means nations who great military mights. And your country tops the list of nations who are military mights. Country living, anyone? With the globalists toying around with the supply chain, you'd be hitting two birds with one stone. Three if you include its being good for the health.

@eschatologyguy The worst part about being a citizen of the United States is that since the globalists took over in the 1950s we've had multiple atrocities committed in our name and against our will. Part of the reason that there has been a constant push since WWI to eliminate the United States Marine Corps is that we have been the most resistant to corruption by the globalists. When globalist business magnates tried to enlist Smedley Darlington Butler, Lt. Gen. USMC (ret.) to join a coup against FDR he went to Hoover for help rounding them up. When Hoover refused to investigate, Gen. Butler did it himself with the help of some fellow Leathernecks and FDR remained president until he died in office in 1945. Today, I'm afraid, they've finally succeeded in corrupting the top brass in my Corps.

@FuzzyMarineVet That's why I've been floating the idea in a couple of threads that maybe now would be a good time for patriots to pretend they're woke and counter-infiltrate the US military and maybe take it back if this gets any worse. You can't have lunatics taking over the US strategic assets.
