It never ceases to amaze me how so many in the black community remain so steadfastly dedicated to a political Party that continuously implies how stupid and incapable the black community is.
I mean, going beyond the "poor kids are as smart as white kids," gaffe, I have learned that the current leader of the Democratic Party thinks that black people:
- Don't know how to get identification
- Don't know how to get online
- Don't know how or where to vote, so we need to send them ballots
- Don't know how to get business loans
- Don't know how to secure the services of a lawyer
- Aren't black if they don't know who they're voting for
And all I can think is...they believe the Republicans are the racist ones, because they expect black people to carry their own weight...like they expect from literally everyone else? In other words, the Party that thinks you're stupid and pathetic is your ally, and the one that treats you the same as everyone else is racist against you. Holy balls.
No wonder we're so incredibly fucked. The most outspoken voices in the black community - or at least the only ones the MSM will pay attention to - are the ones that beat the drum of black people are perpetual victims that need reparations, set asides, and biases in order to build "equity."
And I sincerely wonder....is "white privilege" not having this garbage fed into your brain from the time you learn to walk? Is "white privilege" being told that no one gives a shit if you fail so you better work three times as hard as the next guy to ensure you DON'T fail? Is "white privilege" living life without a ready-made excuse that your inevitable failure is really the "system's" fault and not your own? Well, it MUST be, given that work ethic, objectivity, and merit are all decried as elements of "Whiteness."
