There is an idea in Christianity that God is not a respecter of persons. What this means is God sees your soul not your earthly position. I bring this up because Pelosi keeps telling us she is a good prayerful Christian, Catholic no less. The vain glory she suggest should be associated with the presidency is not very Christian. From the Christian perspective the presidency is an earthly job like any other. She suffers massively from the sin of pride.
From a non religious perspective Pelosi true to her socialistic leanings, at least while she does not suffer the consequences, is appealing to the primitive instincts that drive socialism. The primitive instinct for fairness is about distribution not production and in this case is about form not function. She does not see the presidency as a productive function but as a form that calls out the primitive instinct of empathy. In nature form is critical because apes only consume they do not produce and fairness is therefore tied only to distribution. To understand form is to indulge sensuality, the sensuality required to find resources and exploit them. Sensuality that Christianity condemns along with vainity, gluttony, avarice, and earthly position. These our culturally evolved values incompatible with natural instincts or emotions. Pelosi needs to check her emotions and focus on productivity which is the key to civilization.

Afterall the world leaders that a POTUS has to speak to and debate all have zero "skulduggery" . Also, we all know, a POTUS can basically do his/ her job from the basement without human contact, because COVID. Sound reasoning.
