If you can bear it, watch the debate again. I know, I know, who in their right mind would want another spinal tap along with a root canal?
Well guess what? On second viewing, Trump did well. He crushed Biden. He was forceful. Biden had nothing. He lied continuously and when pushed into an awkward corner, his only reaction was “That’s not true.” He had nothing. Trump actually had good lines. He scored some body blows. He had to wade through Biden’s debris field while Chris Wallace ran interferance and cleaned up after him.
The biggest problem Trump has had to face has nothing to do with his policies. It’s all surface, for the people with issues. The surface last night was a chaotic mess, mostly because it didn’t look like anything we’ve come to expect. Ok. Great. Get over it. Trump beat him like drum, and if you doubt that, listen to the pundit class. They want to do everything possible to avoid any further debates. They know how bad Joe did. The only ones whining are the ones who should know better: “He’s so crude. He interrupted all the time. It wasn’t presidential,”
Fuck that. Trump won. Get on board.

It was terrible and there were no winners. America is the big loser with these two candidates for the top job. Chris Wallace was a moderator doing what moderators do. Constant interruptions show a lack of maturity and self control and need moderating. If you think Chris Wallace was on Bidens side, maybe it's because Trump constantly interrupted and needed moderating more than Biden.
There were no positives to take from the "debate". it was completely devoid of policies and any sort of fiscal intentions. The American republic is at a turning point in its history and the future is uncertain for its survival. I suspect it will be more of the same if you can stand to watch.

Wallace was batting for Biden. No 2 ways about it, the bias was obvious.
I did not watch. I dislike any duel in which the referee is pointing his pistol at one of the combatants, and it frustrates me that no one seems to find this unacceptable.
Given that our President probably enjoys the challenge, good for him, but I find such a ridiculously biased event, and the hypocrisy of Democrats a shameful spectacle.

I thought Trump did pretty well in the debate against Wallace especially considering the rules VERY heavily favored Wallace.
Agree, 100%. Trump did the only thing possible, he surprised Wallace, and attacked him as his real opponent! I have never seen Wallace disconcerted, before. In all of his years on air. He is paid the big money to run interference for Biden. Some one said, Wallace makes 20 million a year. Is that true? Journalist, so called, are way over paid!
