If they could have seen the future, how Seattle would allow wholesale destruction of parks, I doubt anyone would believe it. Here are some interesting points in the thread:
- The bums have the most rights to the parks in Seattle. Pitch a tent, urinate, have a healthy bowel movement, toss your needles everywhere, throw your garbage anywhere
- You can smoke all the weed you like in the parks as well as have your dog leave huge piles of !!!! all over the place. You also get extra points if you dress up like a giant vagina while standing next to the playground. But if you dare swing a detector, you are an enemy of the state.
- coins or pulltabs can be considered "park features"
- They just passed an ordinance that you can't give away food near the park.
