Just how meaningless is woke-talk? John Robson gives the answer in today’s National Post as he skewers Canada’s Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, “a trendy intellectual due to trendiness not intellectuality. She is as clueless as her boss...”
Robson mocked Freeland for her ridiculous woke observation that “women, young people, Indigenous people, and Black and racialized Canadians are among those disproportionately affected” by Covid.
Wait, says Robson. “Over half of Canadians are women and a third under 30. And half female plus one-sixth male youth makes two-thirds. Of the remainder, over a quarter are Aboriginal, Black or racialized.”
In other words the majority of Canadians are disproportionately impacted!
Of course, Freeland has no idea how stupid her speech writers are.
As Mort Sahl once commented: “World ends: women and minorities hardest hit.”

Dummies demand diversity and equality. Diversity refers to appearance only, not thought. We all must be of one mind. Example - They are of one thought in that you are a misogynist. Equality does not include anything that could be remotely associated to the patriarchy or is of white, European, Judeo-Christian origin. Example - you, Lightperson.

@Lightman you know what though, the saving grace is that these progressive liberals all hate each other and if they get power it will be a blood bath as they scramble to be at the top of the totem pole. The rational and the logical should just leave to them to their own devices as long as they can insulate themselves from the carnage and that may be a problem.
