Can anyone name for me a policy from the political establishment that's helped move the black community forward since the 60s?
Meanwhile, in what I can only call Bizarro World, we embrace black culture, music, art, style. We don't think anything of interracial relationships or multicultural neighborhoods. We work together, we laugh and joke, we ask each other's advice and opinions, while also respectfully recognizing that there are some topics to leave alone. Yet, some would have you believe that we now live in the most racist era that our nation has ever known, and that all white people must own their racism and their responsibility to fix it. And that to be colorblind or a judge of the content of a man's character is especially racist.
I don't think this rhetoric is an accident. I think it's meant to keep us at each other's throats and generate an entirely new wave of racial tensions for generations to come. And the only people who benefit from that are the ones that require solidarity in the black community that they and only they, can make it right.

Im trying to figure out where you got the idea about the political establishment wanting what’s best for people. My statement is clear and succinct, so I have absolutely no idea what could have sparked that weirdly unrelated interpretation.
That aside, the point about how well we all live together is one that I been repeating to anyone who will listen. The woke media presents a false narrative of dystopian racist horror, that does not in any way reflect real life for the vast majority of us.

I took this to mean that you, like Thomas Sowell, are against the adoption of socialism as a matter of "common sense."
Therefore I concluded that the disconnect was that assuming that government should be about "common sense," which would be governance for the benefit of the people. But it isn't, and I sincerely question how long it's been since it was.
My brain works funny. Sometimes I see things that may or may not be there and usually assume that they are under the rule of "assume noble intent."
Sorry, I can't figure out what identity profile to place him in. He must therefore be irrelevant. either that or he is...gasp...an individual...there I said it. He can now be discredited altogether. A traitor to humanity! /sarc
