Don't waste your time, they will only leave the more extreme radicals and cat videos until it becomes like Twitter, a human cesspool. Better invest time in new platforms.

@1patriot Hehe. Well , start from scratch maybe. They deleted my entire account over posting a dog video on Facebook, no contacts, no way to contact them. So I came here, started fresh. : )

Also I would suggest you think about getting off all the big tech services if you are using Gmail or something. And if you are on the gamail , and used it to open account for other platforms, they shut people's gmail and all is locked. So I went to ProtonMail and looking into their VPN service as well. As much alt tech as possible.

The Great Firewall of...America? WTZ!

This past week on Feb 2 - Feb 7, 2021 a massive attack was conducted on encrypted services, particular VPN's. VPN traffic was throttled to near unusability.

Basically in 2021, the Great Firewall of the USA was turned on. And then abrubtly turned off.

Purpose of the action was unknown. No party stepped up to acknowledge and aside from me, no one has stepped up to call any Internet Provider of their egregious action against privacy minded people.

Why did this attack happen?
Why did the attack stop?

Which company is responsible?
Is this because of a government mandate?
Why the concerted efforts with cable companies to throttle on the other side?

Was it because they had network congestion and were just trying to deal with that? But why the selective choice of throttling the people interested in privacy?

Since VPN's can cloak themselves, why even bother to do this since at best the effect is temporary?

Probably not the safest, but if it works for you. Still, I would suggest you look into alternatives.

@1patriot Yeah, but its Microsoft. A woke company with questionable privacy policies. I would still suggest you check out the alternative, because things are going to get only more and more hot in the near future.

Well some countries are thinking about it. India for example. Turkey etc. Although I fear they are not for free speech, they are simply afraid of competition to their own censorship. Poland on the other hand seems to be more about free speech than others so its trying to do similar to what I heard Florida is trying to do. If you get de platformed, to present evidence to judge who than pressures Big tech. How that will play our in practice, remains to be seen.

Also it seems that American culture wars have been exported to other countries like France for example and unlike UK and Scotland or Ireland, at least France showed some interest in protecting their own culture.

Yeah, I heard about the French complaining about American woke culture. On the one hand, I had to laugh about the French of all people complaining that we were even further out there than them, but then I also took some comfort that people from other countries can see how insane we've become in such a short amount of time.

I wish I knew what to do. I suspect if I remain in the states I will deeply regret it, but I've nowhere else to go. I just hope that when they kill me, I have the presence of mind to keep some of my dignity.

@Alysandir Well the only good thing about all this that I can think of is that it reminds some Americans to get out of the coma of being a perpetual consumer and actually be force to create something and educate themselves about their own culture, not pop culture, but culture that made their country possible. For tool long mots Americans were just consumers with very little or no sense of history, geography, philosophy etc. Now to save it they will be force to think real long and hard what they stand for and what they don't want. It will force some people to be more creative and more resourceful and it will make them less a consumer and more a creator.

And on the flip side woke religion is so damn destructive to everyone including themselves that it cannot last long. It will destroy itself once it has no one to cancel. Damage will be great, but it does not have any characteristic that makes it long term. It is inherently parasitic, and self destructive.

In the mean time , those prostituted will have to find ways to survive and fight back in their own ways.
