Funny you should mention that. I had that very discussion w/ my son last night---about the cultivation of power, what drives it--- with an emphasis on manipulation.

As for the general election, my mind, heart, and bones tell me that Trump won. That's my
"settled science." Zero coattails for Biden in the House and Senate. It had to be done quickly. Also: See Pennsylvania.

And as for "parties whose interests are being served," I have no feeling about what voters will put up with or rail against, because this election has brought home the nub of it---Who's counting the
votes?"
