If you are not vaccinated by Sep 13, your employer is supposed to fire you from your job and you are heretofore banned from entering any public establishment (1) including places to buy basic necessities, such as groceries.(2)
(1) Unless you meet one of the De Blasio administration's permissible exemptions, such as being a performer. That's right, if you're a rank-and-file citizen of NYC, you will be fired from your job, but if you're an entertainer from out of town, you can still come in and hold a concert, if you are unvaccinated.
(2) Not so coincidentally, there has been recent news about an uptick in grocery delivery services in NYC. So fret not! You may be condemned to rot in your apartment without a job, but you can still pay handsomely for someone to bring you food and toiletries while you rot.
