I think his observations are valid. But we cannot forget that Russia invaded Ukraine - not the other way around. It is also good to remember that Russia (Putin) amassed his military forces at the border with Ukraine and tried to provoke the Ukrainians into, proverbially speaking, fire the first shot.
For weeks before the war - the invasion and the violence began there was the MSM anticipating it like a dog salivating at feeding time.
I don't know that it is necessarily a "proxy war" - I think its more of an unsurprising development when we consider the ineptitude of this "Biden - Harris administration.
It seems the current regimes overall strategy in dealing with crises everywhere is to pretend that they don't exist and that anyone who points them out is motivated by "racism" and are really Nazi Nationalists...blah blah blah...meanwhile the human suffering at the Border w/Mexico, the abject and intentional dismantling of our economy, the war in Ukraine, the supply chain debacle...on and on, continue.
And the administration and their lackeys in MSM pretend that "The People" don't see it - or that they don't care.
They would be wrong on both counts.
