These guys are pointing out that until that deficit gets somehow cleared away, the nation's fiscal security is at risk. The only way to recover is to stimulate the private sector by reducing taxes to zero for 8-12 years. The Irish Miracle proved it. Reaganomics did too before that (to the endless frustration and denial of socialists), and there have been many examples before that. Let the Chief know that you support reducing taxes to stimulate the private sector - especially to kick start the economy after COVID-19. Quantitative Easing is the Leftist solution trying to use GOVERNMENT spending to do the job. How well did that work under Obama? Worst economic performance in the history of the US.

I do believe The Chief is our best hope and a timing miracle of epic proportions. If Obama had gotten his wished for 3rd term, I doubt we would even be seeing a chance for righting the ship or even have the luxury of arguing the possibilities for doing so. Interesting times, on every level.
@purdyday I fear that what has happened is a Chinese bid to take over as the World currency; the destruction of the dollar. We are so badly in debt that being the World currency is the only thing keeping the dollar from being worthless. The collapse of our economy is now imminent.
But I amend that after consulting with an economist who assures me that the Chinese currency is not sufficiently massive to be recognized as the World currency.
@TimTuolomne I can only imagine, that will be a game changer this time around. Zero tax on businesses, that will make the socialists howl, lol
@purdyday Yes, because they actually think businesses have their own source of money - as if they print it, and don't really have to raise their prices when taxes go up. Hilarious, isn't it?
