This bothers me on a number of levels. First, that he did everything right, went through prepub review and made no secret that he was writing this book, so to have earned the reprimand that he did by making comments about the book he just published, seems a little disingenuous.
Second, the fact that his views that Marxism spreading in the military being seen as "political partisanship," when we've already seen the government greenlight open support for BLM by declaring a movement that wants to tear down and rebuild American culture as "non-political;" the "stand-down day to uncover 'white extremism,'" (which apparently includes using the Gadsden Flag now); and openly talking about choosing high-skill warfighter positions based on sex or race vs ability. Pot, meet kettle.
Third, where are the comments from centrists & conservatives? Not folks like Pool or Crowder, I mean where are your lawmakers? Who has spoken up to this point about this soldier being relieved of command? Any of them? Crenshaw? Hell, even Gabbard? Once again, no one has anything to say about this, not even those with higher political aspirations, like De Santis.
