@FocusOn1 I know "zakat" is not a tax per se but it may as well be if it is forced. Islam, as a theocracy, when it is compared to a form of government is socialist totally. It isn't communist though it is closer to fascism.

@FocusOn1 Money is something that is backed by confidence. As the people lose confidence in the government, whom control the supply,, the money becomes less valuable.
In all truth, the federal reserve established the dollar as a currency only and over the last century tricked the populace into thinking it was money. There was enough "confidence" in the government that it was an easy ploy. Was it criminal? You bet! The "idea" the dollar was money was planted in the citizen's heads and the education system gradually indoctrinated them. Most people today are economic airheads and are taught nothing in schools. They are quite easily manipulated by our politicians who are manipulated by the central bankers. Economists themselves have lost all concept of what money is and are gradually turning into a mere token - a CBDC.
Thus upholding Voltaire's observation, "Paper Money eventually returns to its intrinsic value of zero".
