It now appears to be the norm in Western society, particularly amongst the young, that an idea takes hold and through peer pressure, fuelled by social media, all sense of rationality and balance is lost. We saw it with Brexit in the UK where people who previously never gave the EU a thought became rabidly pro European and announced their allegiance with a passion ( even when they could hardly put a decent sentence together). Pretty much all the aggression is coming from a breed of intolerant bigoted individuals who are flocking to join pro immigration, anti Western groups who want to ban meat, save the planet, implement positive discrimination for ethnic groups and indeed any other cause that allows them to wave a flag.
Their heroes are often misguided sinister individuals or I suspect puppets of more sinister masters but they are followed like the pied piper.

That is at least 60,000 young fools who will grow up and cringe when they remember this. Almost all will deny it, and be liars to the end of their days. Even if no one else knows it, they will and shame will taint their lives.
Not only is "Climate Change" a political farce that is currently unraveling, the coming ice age will accelerate the embarrassment of all who believed and called the rational of us "deniers." Remember them. They are the ones whose judgement everyone will know is worthless.

The problem with Germany is that following two world wars they have had decades of teachings about the evils of right wing politics. Given the circumstances this is no surprise but this has led to a belief that anything not left of centre is akin to fascism. They want to show just how inclusive and humanitarian they are but the irony is that in trying to show that they are not setting out to dominate Europe they have ended up having to push their more left wing ideology beyond their borders. Merkel’s unilateral decision to take a million immigrants and then harassing other European countries to take ‘their share’ is an example.
