The dumber half of the country will always be looking for someone to tell them what to think, and the few percent of the narcissistic power hungry will always use that as an opportunity to mold them. Those of us who are intellectually and emotionally intelligent aren't fooled. But we'll never be able to do anything but keep speaking the truth and calling out the lies to attempt to manage the damage. Our failing is sometimes to be too tolerant, and fail to speak up because we offend ourselves with the required rudeness. Well it IS required because that group is so dumb, the only thing they respond to is pressure. And you'll never succeed in diverting a narcissist. They know you are right and don't care.
