During the Soviet years there was one approved newspaper "Pravda" which translates to "Truth". Problem was no one believed a word printed in it. In 1998 my late wife and I visited Moscow. The people lived two lives. One in apparent adherence to the governments changing whims and the other to survive. BTW even after 50+years of being told we were evil they loved everything about the USA.
Nothing you hear from Joe Bejing and his friends in government, big tech and the media can be believed.
