Sorry this is long but i couldn't nit share this somewhere As with most FB disagreements things got heated and things were said while discussing white vs blacks and how because im white i have to check my privilege and black men are dying so because i can't understand all thats going on as a white i have no say led me tonthis response. Hopefully it gives a enough context of what was being said beforehand. I decided not to reply but still wanted ti get it out there.

And if its so systemic why are many of the top athletes black? There are black billionaires, black pop stars, black tv stars, etc? Im not trying to dismiss your experiences they are very real but you have to ignore all of that to get there. Maybe you just stumbled across the racist assholes. Sure ithers can tell similar stories and thats where the danger lies. When these stories get amplified we start treating them as the norm and then everyone is racist because we rarely hear the good stories.
Again racism is real all of us are guilty of it in some sense. The definition is included at the end but even to claim i have some sort if advantage because i am white is racist of you. I don't presume to think my life is better or worse based on skin color. Hell i don't even presume my life is better than yours at all. You kept telling me to check my privilege while also basically degrading me; calling me a troll with no friends, no life, etc. Hey if thats privilege you can have it. I got no job right now, my health sucks, my only friend at the moment is my sisters cat, i got nowhere to go cuz i can't drive being legally blind and nothings even open, my closest friends don’t live close so we barely see each other, i don't really have a good solid church family since moving from the one i had, my dad really wants nothing to do with me due to years of hurt between us, my stepdad well thats a whole novel, aside from those few close friends i barely see i really have few personal attachment to anyone, like honestly if i died during this lockdown would anyone know or care, sureim a homebody but like id be lying if i said the lockdown didnt have me depressed and in tears some days. Even after I still question that to some degree but at least im white right?

Like come on we had a black president and really the system is out to get the black community? If it was none of that should be the case. Who was it, Lebron James, who said you can't go for a jog? Really if you are that scared and its true i better not see a black person on the streets ever again if its really that dangerous and people are getting free passes to kill black people. I can't think of any black people i wanna kill but im sure others can and if its open season like James wants to say then damn you really just shouldn’t step outside as im sure someone somewhere is asking for an excuse.

We all got some “privilege” life ain’t fair. Im sure if we wanna go down the oppression olympic trail and attribute things to race sure maybe not the killing of white men the way black men are supposedly getting killed but im sure we can dig up something just as bad that targets whites and every other racial group, maybe even worse than the racism blacks face, i don’t know, shall we try? And who decides what’s even worse sure maybe you say you can handle the persecution latinos face but can they? Why is it not as bad because you could handle it and they can’t? Everyone has different pain thresholds which is why its such a hard thing to gauge. Even death can be overcome depending on the person mindset so lets not even pretend we can draw the line at death.
