I agree.

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it"

Whether out of necessity, neglect, or poor judgement, it doesn't matter....at least two generations of kids have been left to their own devices as parents have abandoned traditional family values in their search for....fill in the blank.

At some point too many families quit training up their children and left it in the hands of schools, the media, the music and entertainment industry, and now perhaps the worst, social media.

I disagree. Change the TV for a Bible and we will have something evil too, in my opinion. It's the lack of love, of attention of mom and/or dad. It's the neglect from society that creates the psychopaths. Because in order to feel empathy, you need to have experienced the emotion before. People who grow up forgotten and abandoned at home, they won't have a frame of reference for love, compassion, understanding, forgiveness. Therefore won't have anything good to offer to the world in the future.

I was one of them, and I found myself compelled to comment because I was obsessed with this one TV show that gave me an incredible set of great morals. Still grew up to be an outcast because I had a lack of social skills, but I got something good out of it. It was the lack of love and parental attention that screwed me over.

The DIE religion has been gaining ground since the 60s. The propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, (corporate media and public broadcasting) just gave it a boost.

Diversity, inclusion and equality are for all intents and purposes is a naturalist religion from the philosophical school of Rousseau and others like him, including Marx. For whatever reason continental philosophy is tainted with a romantic sickness. It's original religion was Humanism or the worship of the goddess of reason, but reasoning is way to much work so DIE has replaced it.

Communal or tribal life is what we are evolved for. Instincts such as fairness, out breeding and promiscuity, status through networking, lose cooperation, territorial protection not private property, and other instincts of youth that are not fully socialized are the hall marks of the 60s generation. The apparent shift to materialistic excess is just a commentary on how easy life became as the industrial revolution showed it's true power.

Black Lives Matter, which is apparently a political party, has managed to gain 65 percent approval according to a Rasmussen poll. It is of course just a sect of the DIE religion. I liken the take over of culture by DIE to the way Christianity parasitized the Roman empire. Luxus seems to always cause a disconnect with reality and the corruption of tradition. The number of irrational Roman emperors is evidence as is the number of equally irrational politicians today.

Rationality will reassert itself when civilization starts to collapse. Judging from the condition of California's infrastructure that could be relatively soon.
