I watched Carlson tonight. His monologue instilled a sense of sheer terror and utter disgust as I witnessed the destruction of our precious American History. In every Blue State, in every Blue City, gangs of BLM Communists are tearing this nation apart. Toppling statues that have stood for decades. Desecrating and destroying everything in their path. Looting, burning, maiming, bludgeoning, terrorizing innocent civilians (see recent Louisville film of woman attempting to escape from being killed). The rioters pointed guns at her. She fled terrified for her life.
Tonight, I ask everyone that knows me to consider the ramifications of ignoring this insidious tyrannical political movement called BLACK LIVES MATTER. BLM is totally comprised of Marxist communists. The question you need to ask your worthless Congressional Representative or your worthless Senator (if Republican) is why they haven’t demanded strict enforcement of the laws that criminalize and penalize this criminal and seditious behavior? Throwing them in jail does no good. The DNC, Soros, and numerous NGO’s bail them out within hours. The only penalty for this type of insurrection must be swift and final. If identified and caught they lose their American Citizenship. They are given 48 hours to leave the US with no right of petition. If they are unable to leave, they will be shot dead by firing squad. This is a violent revolution not a frat party or skirmish by a group of estranged Bohemian counterculture dweebs wearing Che Guevara berets.
This POTUS is making an incredible blunder. This is not Rodney King. This is Shaun King and this bastard is serious about destroying the United States of America. The Republicans are the last line of defense and they are missing in action. Rep. Kevin McCarthy babbles about Syria, Lindsey Graham plays patty cake with Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand over the firing of a US Attorney (SDNY) and the vacancy replacement, which should have been executed a year ago.
It is open warfare in the halls of Congress but too few on the Republican side (House or Senate) have the spine or the will to do what must be done. Yes…its an election year. Wait any longer to react and there won’t be more elections.
Verbatim: “Yes I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down. They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been,” King tweeted. “In the Bible, when the family of Jesus wanted to hide, and blend in, guess where they went? EGYPT! Not Demark. Tear them down.”
If that statement does not wake you up…. you are already dead and you just don’t know it. Your slow walking into the gas chamber and Shaun King is closing the door on you and your White Family.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.As I've said before: If people are going to take issue with the removal of statues and portraits because "they erase history," we should consider whether such objects provide an accurate and full account of that history. And if they don't, then we owe it to those people to correct the record, as it were, through addition if possible, and subtraction if needed.
Or they could leave history to the history books and concede that they are fighting to protect what the statues represent. At least we could all be on the same page about their meaning, even if our moral judgments of that meaning were opposed.

History is history, good and bad. Is it perfectly accurate, of course not, its recorded by people. Do we have the ability today to go back and make a "correct" accounting? Nope. We are stuck with the accounts we have. Keeping just the positive or just negative accountings are both equally ignorant. It should all be learned from, its the whole point in having it to start with.
I enjoyed your responses. It sounded rationale. Lexpd provides good reasoning as well. I'm not kidding when I advocated for the use of deadly force. The Republic is at stake. Each and everyone of us must decide for themselves the ramifications of where we stand and what we do. God gave us free will. It's for each of us to decide which side of history we will fall.
@Lexpd1145 Statues are not accounts of history. They contain some historical information yes, but that is it. It's absurd to suggest that there is some cutoff date for historical research.
@Marsbonfire Some people's line is babies in cages, for others it's a statue coming down.
@WilyRickWiles You are correct sir, they are not accounts of history, they serve as reminders of history. Once the statues are removed, I have my doubts they choose to stop there. As far as historical research, I think it is absurd to suggest that someone who did not live through said history can "correct the record". You would still have to make judgements based off of the records and writings of someone elses bias, opinions, and agenda. There is also the issue of "the winners writing the history". This would make the argument that you are only getting a view point and not the whole picture.
@Lexpd1145 If you don't trust historians to "correct the record," why do you trust, e.g. monuments that were built 50-150 years after Civil War to commemorate the losers of history?
@WilyRickWiles I have said nothing about trust. I have stated I believe history to be inaccurate for several differnent reasons. I view someone today trying to "correct the record" very similiar to the exercise in school. Someone tells someone else a story, that person in turn tells it to someone else. The story becomes more inaccurate with each telling and at some point doesnt even resemble the original story any more. So I choose your second option. Lets leave history to the history books.
As flawed as that history might be, I firmly believe there are still lessons to be learned from all of it. I do not believe it should be up to a mob to decide what does and does not stay on display.
