IT’S ALREADY STARTED
A week after Bernie Sanders praised Creepy Joe as potentially the most progressive president since FDR, he’s now saying “Aw, shucks, it just doesn’t go far enough.” This, a day after the estimable Angela Davis helpfully pointed out that she’s supporting the old pervert because it will be easy for the progressive left to push him around. The revolution is never satisfied, it seems, and no matter how much one strives for ideological purity, someone farther out along the spectrum will denounce you. Trotsky always gets an ice-pick in his brain.
Like I’ve said several times recently, they don’t even bother to pretend any more. They tell us exactly what they have planned because they assume the country’s been sufficiently weakened by a bogus lockdown, and sufficiently softened by riots in the streets, that we’ve lost the ability and the will to fight.
Whaddaya think? Are they right?

It is the fact that "the people" have grown fat, lazy, overly self indulgent.

It seems to me that the softening and loss of ability and will to fight has been demonstrated mostly in Democrat strongholds. I tend to wonder what we could expect from such disruptions being brought into Red state areas...and I say "brought into" meaning that even in the Blue state areas most of this was not grassroots activism but imported rabble-rousing IMO. It would be curious to see what would happen if some of the 80-100 million firearms owners, with God-only-knows how many billion rounds of ammunition, decide that they will not sit idly by and be threatened. It might play out that some of those 80-100 million gun owners who are living in blue state areas might be emboldened to choose self-determination as well.
It used to be, once upon a time, that Patrick Henry's, "Give me liberty or give me death!" spoke for all Americans.
