Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I've heard from the right, "you don't have to like Trump, but it's important to vote for him so we don't fall into communism". That's usually followed by a list of economic as well as free speech reasons.
I've heard from the left, "you don't have to like Biden, but it's important to vote for him so we don't fall into fascism". That's usually followed by a list of humanitarian reasons including "for all" type of changes.
I'm unsure just how far left or right Biden and Trump are, or how far left or right they plan on going. It does seem, however, there's an appearance of uniformally transforming our country 100% Democrat or 100% Republican. A lot of those individuals behind the gloom and doom alarmist approach, come from extremists.
Still, considering all that's happening and has happened in 2020 alone, it's not such a stretch of the imagination to picture such an abysmal picture of our future in either extreme end. Normally I wouldn't make these leaps in logic. These aren't normal times.
So, what happens in the magic month of the election hour? Anything special that can't be accomplished currently? Truth is, the divide that has been nurtured through biased media sources both left and right has been happening far longer than Trump. Obama, Bush, Clinton, and on and on have been painted increasingly in a greater biased manner than the previous.
Currently the left bias is winning in the media war with it's far reach over the top big tech leaders. It definitly is a different world where the bulk of the information is based on Twitter without further research. To make matters worse, opposing views are censored. Fixing things is not going to be easy. I also feel this divide can't be bridged by an election. I'm still trying to figure out how it can be fixed?
