After all, Tarrio is the leader of the Proud Boys - who is the leader of Antifa? (I'm not saying the Proud Boys are terrorists, by the way - in fact, I think they're patriots.)
How does one definitively distinguish between an Antifa member (who, as a member of a designated terrorist organization would be subject to prosecution as a terrorist) and a lone-wolf, leftist, criminal rioter?
I think the best way to counter this situation is strong law enforcement, and good, patriotic education.

That FBI idiot Wray said that antifa activists were a serious concern, saying that antifa was a “real thing” and that the FBI had undertaken “any number of properly predicated investigations into what we would describe as violent anarchist extremists,” including into individuals who identify with antifa.
But, he also stupidly, contradictedly said, “It’s not a group or an organization. It’s a movement or an ideology.” Really? That is like saying Nazism is an idea and not an organization. One that tried taking over the world BTW.
Trump, in June singled out antifa, the so-called, “anti-fascists”.
It is an umbrella term for far-left-leaning militant groups, not simply an ideology that uses violence and facism itself. They have tags, and even wear uniform. They are blackshirts not brownshirts...
They are responsible for much of the violence that followed George Floyd’s death. Trump tweeted that the U.S. would be designating antifa as a terrorist organization, even though such designations are historically reserved for foreign groups and antifa seems to lack the hierarchical structure of some other more formal organizations. Just because they don't have a clubhouse with a big sign, doesn't make them not an organization... these days all you need now is a mobile phone and Internet access.
They are many smaller groups under one ideological umbrella, they use the one name and they are organized.
