Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I don't understand what "the science" is supposed to mean. Not the data, the phrase "the science". Example, I ask someone about wearing masks being effective, they say "the science". What "science"? Because I've seen studies on both the positive and negative effects of wearing a mask. Same for lockdowns, vaccines, medicines, and other precautionary measures. Same answer, "the science, the science, the science". Sometimes followed by "CDC". It's confusing.
I wear a mask, and practice social distancing, and other sanitation suggestions. I'm not entirely sure how effective they may or may not be, but I usually air on the side of caution. I started questioning heavier, however, at lockdowns. What makes my home safer than the gym? What makes the grocery store safer than a school? I usually get the same answer, "the science", followed by "essential". What?
