That fact is this, when it comes to the right, all sides can see the reasonable limits of extreme partisanship, the vast majority of conservative do not have a tolerance for white supremists or violence, that is why all republicans have voiced their opposition to what happened inside the capital building. The problem is this, the left is unable to recognize that there is any extreme too far on the left, hence many of them play relative morality games with Antifa and BLM, bail out arsonists and looters and save their derisive comments for police rather than criminals.
So it should be no surprise when after having tolerated lawlessness and violence all summer some misguided souls would think that it would continue to be tolerated. The state of extreme partisanship and cultural- racial divide started with Obama, and has been promoted by the left as a means of staking out their territory despite it lacking data and evidence to support it. Trump may not have been as eloquent as Obama, he might have been an egotistical brute but there is zero evidence that he promoted the racial- ethnic and partisan divisions that we are seeing now (the bits of evidence trotted out by the left to show him a racists are demonstrably fabricated). All of this is a shiny object to distract your attention from the slight of hand going on to steal democracy.
The horrible thing is now the swamp is back in control and they are using a one time anomaly to crush opposing views in an attempt to create conditions for a one party government, the methodology is well rehearsed and the apologists and defenders are at the ready. We are heading for dangerous times as relatively small number of evil people have control over the indoctrinated masses to carry out their own agenda. We have seen this sort of consolidation of power, control of media and suppression of opposition many times before, it most certainly does not lead to stronger democracies, more free people or more fair distribution of wealth or opportunity. If you are unable to see that then you need to consider that perhaps you are among the indoctrinated.
Arnold mentioned kristellnacht the other day, his reference purposeful but wrong, that night in Germany was prefaced by a single event where a Jew was reported to have killed a German in an aggressive action and that single event was used to justify the night of broken glass and the subsequent persecution of Jews (the distrust and hatred of Jews had aleady been fabricated) . Substitute conservatives for Jews and then maybe you can begin to see the similarities as the powerful in government and media use this one event carried out by a few to suppress and punish an entire group.

I’m not saying it happened as they say and I’m not saying it didn’t happen as they say.
Anyone who beats or harms anyone should be brought to justice whoever it may be.
But this person doesn’t represent all republicans or trumps supporters. Ask almost anyone and they would condemn this behaviour.
But don’t pretend the same things didn’t happen last year during the BLM protests. I’m sure most of those people are great people and shouldn’t be judged for the actions of others.
