WALKED OUTSIDE? Too much time is spent endlessly scrolling, looking for 'entertainment' or for someone else to solve our problems for us.
Yes, I'm an old fuddy-duddy (America slang for an old grouch, for you, RemiDallaire), but I remember the fun times I had with friends playing American football, basketball, etc. OUTSIDE.
People on the Internet are TERRIBLE to each other. Vitriol. Hatred. Screaming matches.
But, you go outside, you go to work, you go to the grocery (yes, they're trying to take that away, too with Karen's at the store screaming for you to put on your mask and become a zombie- uh, I mean compliant), and lots of people you meet, lots of encounters are PLEASANT.
If we keep this up, we'll only meet once a year to scream vicious hatreds at each other, then nod and smile and say, "see you next year."
And I'm aware that I'm an old curmudgeon who never liked going out and talking to people in the first place. I never said I was a NICE man, did I?
