I regretfully disagree; this is this era's Emperor's New Clothes.
I think BY FAR the majority of people look at BLM and either think, "Oh, they just want to stop racism; that's a good thing!" or "These folks make me nervous, but I'm terrified of what will happen to me if I speak out."
I think people are going to ride this train all the way to the scene of the crash and future generations will ask, "How did sensible people ever let this happen?" the way we question how did the Nazis gain absolute power in Weimer Germany.
