So we're hearing that the CPAC stage - which was apparently designed by a company owned by a female liberal Democrat - was supposed to be a Republican dog whistle to their Nazi followers by copying a fairly obscure symbol used by the SS.
By comparison, no one seemed to care about that time Michael Jordan ran around with a Hitler mustache.

Afraid not. This was a real thing.
The SS also used an upward pointing arrow as unit insignia, as well as an asterisk, a stag, a sword and a Viking winged helmet. Are all these now going to be regarded as 'nazi symbols' regardless of context (unless used by democrats)?
