Wikileaks has proven to be credible. It has been used by many as a reference around the world. By those on all sides.
The military and security services were offered a preview of the information dumps to mitigate any damage but they refused.
Wikileaks and others did not just dump it. It was extensively reviewed before release.
There has never been any evidence of actual harm with the exception of politicians and the industrial-military complex. (It's called hanging out the dirty washing) The actual harm caused was to the military personal and civilians. Lots of death and destruction for profit and power.
So the oil wars are just about done. Then they can move on to the water wars.
What do you do if you are the industrial-military complex if someone shows the truth about what you are up to, then attack the man telling the truth? It's tried and true and works well with most of the population.
Facts are the only real tools avalable to the public. Feelings not so much.
