When I fill out a form which asks my race, there is no "Jew" option - only white. No different than saying you are Italian (which also can have distinct physical characteristics) or Russian (which also can have distinct physical characteristics) or Irish (which also can have distinct physical characteristics)... and so on. I have never ever identified as anything other than white.

When you say "both fields" what you are probably referring to is that yes, Jews can relate to non-whites and other oppressed groups due to the terrible oppression and genocidal actions which have been taken against them. So yes, Jews may be able to relate more to non-whites than white English Christians due to shared experiences in misery. No different than how gay and trans people can relate to non-whites due to oppression. Doesn't mean they can't be white.

Whatever happened in the past for whatever reasons, jews are FAR from being oppressed in the United States and most are doing quite well thanks to the elaborate good old boy network they have in almost every field, particularly in Hollywood and the media where they pretty much own and control everything.
