You must have a really warped understanding of Christianity. Granted, there are some Christians who believe it's their responsibility to convert the world, but those who do are as misinformed as you. Our responsibility is to simply share the gospel and care for the needs of others.

At least in the context of the USA, I would say most Christians are a bastardization of original Christianity - they are more concerned with forcing their cherry-picked morality into law and amassing power and hoarding wealth than they are with helping the poor and downtrodden and putting others before their own needs.

Catholicism is just a flavor of Christianity, similar to Protestantism, Mormonism (LDS), Jehovah's Witnesses, Baptists, Unificationism, Christian Scientists, Pentecostalism, and so on and so forth. All sects of Christianity interpret the Bible and the word of their god differently: can priests marry? do you forget debts or trespasses? can you take medicine or is prayer the only method towards healing? can you get blood transfusions? do you speak in tongues or handle snakes? Yet they are all under the umbrella of Christianity. To claim Catholicism is not true Christianity is just "No True Scotsman" fallacy, and I'm sure others would claim your sect isn't true Christianity.
