While I’m no fan of the game show “Jeopardy”, the seemingly mundane job of of replacing its late host Alex Trebek, provides a fascinating look at how woke progressives, even when they lose a battle, are still winning the culture war.
The heir apparent, Mike Richards, has a problem. He’s too white. So very white, he’s been nicknamed “Chad Whiterson” by his racist critics.
Progressives were determined to have LaVar Burton, a black actor, take over the show. In an attempt to achieve that, they’ve waged a nasty smear campaign against Richards, reviving 10 year old, unproven allegations that paint him as a misogynist who hates pregnant women.
Progressives lost this round when producers went with their preferred candidate and Richards got the job. However, woke cultists still say hiring a white host is suspicious, “the optics” are bad, and it’s a slap in the face to the “marginalized”. Agitators claim that too many game show hosts are white. Someone should get that memo to Steve Harvey, Anthony Anderson, Leslie Jones, Nick Cannon, Niecy Nash, Wayne Brady and the many, many other African Americans who seem to be succeeding through hard work, rather than hard-core victimhood.

Do you ever get the sense that a country that is roughly 76% white - and some percentage more mixed heritage or "white passing" - just wants white people to "go away and disappear" entirely?

Yes. And my own thought is it’s academic fans of CRT, progressives/Marxists, and their brainless obsessed followers, not the black or immigrant community. I think blacks, immigrants and other minorities are being told, falsely, that the majority hates them, and is out to kill them. Minorities and the disadvantaged have always been suckered by slick leftists. Racial unrest is their tool to overturn the existing order.

There's a video that made the rounds about six months ago of some guy complaining in the Scottish parliament that there were entirely far too many white people in positions of power and authority in Scotland. And I remember researching after I saw that and learning that Scotland is something like 98% white. Which then made me remember that quote from Braveheart.
