Uh huh, and erecting gallows, chanting "hang Mike Pence", planting pipe bombs, smashing through doors, beating cops with flags, and smearing feces on the walls is just a "rowdy tour group".
Unwelcome "tourists"...love it! Rioters, looters and thugs are......wait for it......"Rowdy Tourists".
Yea, whenever I tour a place, I bring spiked clubs, gas cans, Molotov cocktails and guns. Makes my tourist experience more exciting and memorable
Having been a law enforcement officer for over 25 years, I can tell you there is a difference between "protesters" and "rioters"!!!!
Protesters will allow emergency vehicles through, slowly maybe, but yes!!!!
Rioters will set emergency vehicles on fire or at least disable them!!!!!!
There is a difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And by the way Jan 6 2021, was NOT A RIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, there were a few rioters there, but this was not a riot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So clearly we should have laws that limit when protesters can block traffic. But, if we look at an event like the Selma to Montgomery march, I think there are times when a protest should be allowed to block traffic, I just don't know what those parameters would be. Given that protests are often opposite the causes of the elected officials, we should take care to eliminate a political decision regarding the acceptance of a protest (denial by permit refusal).
I do not think a 2 hour unannounced blockage of the Brooklyn Bridge is appropriate.

Who judges what protests are "appropriate" and which ones are not? Do certain causes get to protest and others forbidden?
When the dirty unvaxxed are rounded up and sent to camps, they can no longer block bridges for 2 hours, unannounced. Would this be more appropriate?
I don't disagree with everything you say but some questions should be answered...just saying
@Sensrhim4hizvewz - Exactly the questions that need to be answered. I'd suggest that traffic blocking protests should be announced (ex. "We will be marching on July 4th" ), be scheduled to minimize typical max use of streets (ie not during rush hours) and should include enough people to not encourage a nuisance (no 20 people getting together to block a major bridge).
When they come for the dirty vaxxed to illegally imprison them, I suspect that local juries aren't too interested in blessing tyrants and their deceased agents.
