I don't know that Whoopie should be fired - "The View" is strictly and opinion show. It makes no policy and in practical terms it has little sway on how the people vote - The fact is that "The View" is preaching to the choir. People who watch that show are the already converted.

Granted, "The View" is outrageously stupid but then so are a hundred other shows on TV/Cable. Leave Whoopie and "The View" alone. I believe the best thing would be to simply ignore that show and STOP reacting to every little stupid thing that gets said on it.
