in actuality, the premise proverb was probably meant for the wealthy and their servants and had its origins in that dark distant past as well, when they had to rise up against from the oppression then

Oh I got the joke alright. I was trying to add my own bit of humor to the post...mine was lame I know and actually had forgotten that scene from Blazing Saddles - one of my favorite movies and arguably the best satirical comedy movie ever!
