Im torn between laughing and crying at some of these posts by people who are so perplexed by their bills going up and the fact that house prices in pretty poor areas are going way up. cry, because it’s just sad this is reality but laugh because how is it ao hard to comprehend the cause for this. they sound like the elderly who complain about certain prices of things, “back in my day this cost a nickel”. yeah and then we fucked up the economy and prices shot up. like seriously these people begged and pleaded for wages to go up and now that they have they seriously want to question why even though there may be an extra 0 on their check they don’t feel like they have more money, if only someone could have predicted this would be the case.

Rite Aid shelves are empty. The clerks said that management gave them excuses that the clerks felt were bull.
Ships and trucks sit idle, but Amazon can deliver packages in 1 day. I feel a conspiracy. Amazon owns its own shipping fleet, and Buttigieg is helping Amazon by shutting down competition.

I predicted this years ago, it does not take a college education to figure out that if you print worthless money and slow down the production of products, you get INFLATION!!!!!!

yup. it doesnt take an economist, hell it doesnt even take a college degree to understand this shit. the excuses make me laugh. like how dare you blame my Uncle Jo, there’s many other explanations for this. ok, sure yeah you can maybe peg some of it on greedy corporations but you think they all got together and decided to blow up prices all at once and decided to keep shelves empty and staff at a skeleton crew?
