Americans have forgotten or were never taught about 'the Cuban missile crisis' where Russia (Krushchev) installed their missles in Cuba and JFK was admandant they had to be pulled out because they threatened 'US security'. Russia installed their missiles in Cuba because the US had missles in Turkey aimed at Russia. JFK quietly removed the missles from Turkey and Russia pulled their missles out of Cuba averting war. It is reasonable for Russia to not want a militarized Ukraine on their border.
Bottomline, the US would not tolerate a hostile militarized Canada or Mexico with missles aimed at them period. NATO knew that threatening Russia with possibly bringing Ukraine into the NATO fold would result in the conflict now occurring. The West, the US and the EU need to 'stop poking the 'bear with the stick' because they are also culpable in the deaths of Ukrainians as a result of their actions in this debacle.

If the US has actually set up dozens of biolabs in Ukraine, as charged, that is an extremely dangerous provocation - probably treasonous. If Russia did that in Mexico or Canada, we would be completely justified in taking military action. Why don't you educate yourself about the history of that local conflict, including the fact that NATO is acting as a major destabilizing force in the region since the fall of the Soviet Union.
It is despicable that there are those who apparently don't care that their "poking the bear" is costing lives of Ukrainians, and Russians, among others.

We forget that nations with Marxist ideology enslave people. Russia may no longer be Communistic, but it still has a lot of repression, censorship and political prisoners. Sad to be saying this, but It's almost just like Trudeau's Canada.

Khrushchev was the Soviet premier during the Cuban Missile Crisis. His rash leadership got him booted in favor of the more temperate Brezhnev.
