The only thing that can guide brinkmanship in the sand lot of thugs that is World politics, is getting real about how far you can project power.
You can’t project power right to the doorstep of a potential adversary.
And if you try, you’d better expect them to try to do it to you!

@dd54 I think Krunoslav has been re-educating you. I think he is a Marxist, whose paid job is to steer the conversation on this site away from conservative constitutionalism to Marxism. The US does not as a policy practice "hegemony" - a word invented by Marx to describe spreading Communism.
@dd54 My apologies. What you have said makes sense. And I have experienced growing alarm since FDR coerced the Supreme Court in 1937, Affirmative Action, Segregation (all unfair to the majority) the LRRA in 1981 (the setup for Obamacare) and unconstitutional Obamacare, among the hundreds of scams pulled by Democrats (the founders of the KKK, who claim Republicans were.)
In a Representative Republic, we are not homogeneous. We are a collection of vastly different perceptions of reality. I hope you'll agree that condemning the whole US, as Krunoslav does, is wrong.
@dd54 I agree that there is probably something behind his off-center position. I presumed he has time to write practically 24 hours a day because he is either paid or obsessed. And he seems to have prepared statements and quotes that he trots out to stoke his central theme that the US is the big evil imperialist of the World, in response to whatever.
I use prepared statements also to some degree, however I don't have time to constantly beat my drum. I work, which he seems not to do. I serve my church. I defend my country intentionally.
