Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Sadly, the American education system has devolved steadily since it started collectivizing in the 1950s. When the local community was the final say on education for their young the liberal arts were held to a higher position. Today the Federal government attempts to micro-manage the schools mandating minimum standards of basic education that cannot be met by the union teachers who take their cues from the heads of the unions. Is it any wonder that our schools have become grooming stations for pedophiles?

It’s insane that the people who run the system — often led by leftist, America-hating teacher’s unions — seem to oppose teaching anything except sex Ed. The classics are out, Shakespeare and the dead white Europeans have been declared toxic, they hate math, and are selective about science (Bible literalists on the right aren’t doing kids any favours either).
Yet the left has an obsession with teaching about same sex families and all things gender. They condemn “MacBeth” and “Hamlet” while fighting tooth and nail for drag Queen story time.
It’s great to see parents finally turning up to demand a restoration of their power over the curriculum.
