My first thought was that "goomers" was like pron -- an attempt to get something past the filters.
But then, filters on Slug? Naaah.
would be much better if "Groomers" were spelled correctly - otherwise its a very poignant and effective image. Sometimes (most times?) evil comes in the facade of beauty and charm. A sexy woman with angel wings, in a pose that suggests her sexuality, holding a broadsword, with an overall look that projects the message that "being evil is fun"...and at the bottom in red lettering "be sure to tell them I don't exist"
This image says volumes about the nature of evil.
...very good depiction of the seductive and alluring characteristics of evil works and propaganda.
Evil is seductive - no question about that.

So…when we face tax increases “for the children…” this is what we are buying. I don’t think so. Vote down every single education bill until these boundary clueless people decide to go do something else. An education poorly funded is far better than this garbage.

Absolutely agree that more money to any government program usually means more damage done to society. Instead of using the money ripped from the wallets of citizens to more efficiently and synergistically provide for security, safety and infrastructure (and other necessities) for the entire citizenry,, our elected representatives are it as a money tree. They choose to throw more and more money at every problem rather than using brainpower and effort to do the important work. This “throwing money at every problem” foolishness creates more problems and temptations fir the unscrupulous to do their damage while enriching themselves at the expense of those they are paid to help.
Homeschooling isn’t for everybody nor is it the only solution, but it averts most, if not all of that. I speak from experience on homeschooling and know it is far more doable than you might think to give your kids a superior education on a tight budget with only one person working and making a wage that keeps them in the poverty level. For single parents it would be a massive undertaking and would likely require help from trusted family, friends or a trusted church community, but it wouldn’t alleviate the necessity for a closely involved parent.

My wish is to have a Presidential candidate hold up a credit card and say, "This is the future of education."
The card is attached to a family account where the money is put for each child. ZERO dollars go to federal or state departments of ed. The family then takes the card to the school and pays for their child. The Federal Department of Education teaches nothing. Your State's Department of Education teaches nothing. Keep the money with the student, NOT the government.
