Here’s Dan Rather on Twitter today denigrating Fox News viewers — about half of America’s viewership — as hicks who “can’t handle the truth”.
Let’s take a minute to remember that Dan Rather — successor to the iconic Walter Cronkite — lost the top dog position at CBS because he was exposed as something less than a truth teller. What a complete hypocrite. He must really believe Fox views are not only stupid, but also suffer from mass amnesia.
Rather was bounced from his prestigious CBS job for his false and misleading report smearing George W Bush for his Vietnam-era service in the National Guard. Maybe Dan is the one with amnesia.

Chris Wallace moderated a Trump vs. Biden debate, and he was nakedly partisan. This was a betrayal to America.

I remember him yelling rudely at President Nixon over/about Vietnam, so we always said 'rather watch something else' and we did, like NBC...we liked Walter Cronkite though

Back in the day, an anchor had to be neutral.
@jaymaron I believe Cronkite was a globalist or something, but he had the decency and the integrity to keep his opinions out of the reporting just the facts without trying to influence your thought processes. To him it would be apparent and the truth would manifest itself without the help of distortions or assistance.
Never liked the man. He added emotion to everything he read instead of being neutral.
Is Dan trying to revive comedy? He sucks at it as badly as he sucked at the news.
