The progressive left have been fooling around with the language for some time now.

Feminists were allowed to define what a woman was in the sixties and now they can't define what a woman is. All done in the name of equality and now "equity" is the redefined rallying cry. Pronouns and genders are fluid today and can be applied to anyone or assumed by anyone. We are all "humyn" beings. Thus reality is distorted in some post-modern dystopian fashion and can be cultivated to suit the demands of the power elite for whatever purpose they wish. This is how the West is being re-imagined and why it is crumbling. The victims of society, the "oppressed", who have always existed on the fringes of any society, glom onto the new definitions, assume and proudly wear their new victim label not realizing that any society will find them on the fringe. The west has been the most accommodating as to inclusivity and tolerance. Their gains towards equality are good and their newfound privilege and protection in the law (equality?) is to be on the attack.

The pendulum of oppression has swung in favor of the "victim", in all its manifestations, and is almost at its apogee, ready to swing back.

The real push is coming from Marxists. They have no qualms about destroying western society and if they should ever gain power, will have no qualms about destroying whatever individuals they deem unequal or anti-state. They will be still engineering society, defining the terms and reality. You can forget diversity, inclusion and tolerance altogether, we must all be equal, no diversity, inclusion or tolerance required.
What would you expect from an organization that thinks there are too many people in the world and can reinvent word concepts to conform to their imagined Utopian reality.
Orwell warned us of this. "Newspeak" will be whatever they say it is.
