I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it – is considered to have been Voltaire’s attitude? Rather than: I MAY disapprove of what you say.
Wouldn’t I be correct in saying that the attitude attributed to Voltaire was/is one of a laissez-faire approach to all aspects of life – not just economics (aka liberty)? Voltairianism or Voluntarism (either will do) liberty when liberty wasn’t exactly fashionable – 1694 ~ 1778?
Given that speech is inextricable to thought, why can’t we ‘magnanimously’ indulge the fantasies of these deluded people to the extent that they don’t encroach upon the liberty of others? All that I’m saying is that liberty of one/some cannot be allowed to overreach the liberty of others!
Therefore, any law or rule that forces participation of one group in the fantasies of another group can no way be just – it’s taking away the liberty of one/some to pacify another group?

I can’t help but wonder if leftists aren’t feeding on the somewhat unfounded fears of women in general? Contrary to feminist propaganda, men are not ravenous apes lacking in self-control – are they? And it’s not misogynist about recognizing that there’s nothing pretentiously special about female humans – if anything they’re the opposite?
I’m not trying to side with either the left or the right concerning all this convoluted crap – and women do relish controversial drama?
During the course of my meager time, it hasn’t sent me in a flurry when a woman asked me for a roll of toilet paper while she sat in a stall and I stood at a urinal – it’s nature calling, get over it? What I’m saying is that the rest of the world doesn’t prize their poop as highly as Americans apparently do? And a man without self-control doesn’t belong free in society – least-ways, I don’t want him around me?
